ISSEY MIYAKE joined the Designer’s Days to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of ISSEY MIYAKE watches.

ISSEY MIYAKE watches are the result of a three-way dialogue : the creative spirit of ISSEY MIYAKE combined with the technological know-how of SEIKO Instruments, translated by a renowned designer, different in each edition.

The installation presented in the ISSEY MIYAKE shop reflects the richness of these exchanges through the eyes of each new watch designer, in this instance ;Tokujin Yoshioka.

06.05.2010 > WONDERLAND TRIP by K-Narf

The ISSEY MIYAKE store lends its creative space to the artist K-Narf, who will make it his temporary workshop for two months.

K-Narf is taking over this space with a series of Photograffiti from his last book titled « WONDERLAND TRIP » (Clear Edition, Tokyo )
Actual photographic tags, surprising mixes of energy and color, the Photograffiti series « WONDERLAND TRIP » is inspired by the old Tokyoites amusement parks of the 70’s and 80’s. They reveal the remains of a time, when prosperity and popular culture were in abundance in Tokyo.
